За всё время поиска работы в разное время происходило столько всего всякого что уже и не помнишь подробностей. Пришла идея вести своеобразный журнал поиска работы. Думаю будет интересно и местами полезно.

Немного о себе:

Платформа: .NET Framework и .NET.
Базы данных: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
Full-Stack: backend 60%, frontend 40%.

От Atea Global Services пришёл очередной отказ. «Мы уже выбрали другого специалиста». А дело-то в том что никого другого не выбрали.

Немного дополню CV и резюме, опять пройдусь по вакансиям и разошлю письма.

Прошлая неделя прошла совершенно пусто. Во вторник было интервью с менеджером проекта из OnTarget Labs, интересно было пообщаться, но если в пятницу ничего не написали это значит отказ. Почему - неизвестно, может из-за того что не на все вопросы ответил идеально (например, про React useEffect), или по деньгам не подошло. Настоящей причины никто не скажет.

Работать в IT не так и сложно, несмотря на то что нужно много знать и постоянно изучать новое, но найти работу это просто ад. Поиск работы это самое сложное.

Компании нужны специалисты, я в поисках работы, есть соответствующий многолетний опыт, но процесс найма может длиться бесконечно долго и закончиться ничем. С 2020 года пытаюсь попасть в If Insurance, был на нескольких собеседованиях, в офисе и удалённо, делал тестовые задания. И всё вроде бы неплохо проходило, даже обсуждали тесты. Результат нулевой.

Там постоянный кадровый движ, все мои бывшие коллеги там работали и ушли в другие места. Что странно, ребята с головой и хотят работать за хорошие деньги. Возникает интересный вопрос, почему уходят из такой замечательной компании?

Настоящей причины отказа никто не сообщит, это формальная отписка. Но хотя бы ответили. На данный момент впереди никакого просвета.

В пятницу написал отзыв на интервью с OnTarget, вчера ответили. Это уже неплохо, но всё равно отказ настроения не прибавляет. В субботу ночью в LinkedIn прислали вакансию, в воскресенье немного обсудили, там интересно, стек технологий что надо. Чем закончится пока неизвестно. Сегодня было ознакомительное интервью с Gravity Team, там неизвестно что будет дальше.

Сегодня ещё два отказа, от Everbridge и If Insurance. Это формальные стандартные отписки. Напишу письмо с просьбой пояснить чем для них не соответствую, потому что перед подачей заявки на вакансию посмотрел каждый пункт.

Плохо что не знаешь причины отказа, и настоящую причину, обсуждаемую в кулуарах никогда не сообщат. Помню в 2014 работал в Diatom Enterprises, руководители обсуждали 49-и летнего разраба. У чела хороший опыт, соответствует вакансии, специалисты компании нужны, рассматривают кандидатов. В итоге руководитель помотал головой и со словами "49 лет... нет, не будем брать".

Сегодня отправил заявку на новую вакансию в Andersen Lab, и получил очередной отказ. Но это формальная отписка.

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Fullstack Developer(.NET/TypeScript) to join its team for working with our customer from the UK.

The customer is a company that offers data-driven solutions for people, risk and capital management. Leveraging the global vision and local expertise of colleagues across 140 countries and markets, it helps to sharpen the strategy, improve organizational resilience, motivate people and maximize performance.

The project is the design and management of computer ecosystems, creation of new product features and enhancing existing code.

Technology stack on the project: RESTful APIs and services for Microsoft cloud deployments using C# .NET Core/ASP.NET, Azure infrastructure and services, JSON/XML, JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS (Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap), Selenium and SpecFlow, IDEs, version control, test automation/CI.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Product Owner to define, refine, and deliver the product backlog.
• Designing software solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implementing product code, following best practices for maintainability, testability, and performance.
• Implementing test-related code (unit tests, test frameworks, and associated automated test cases).
• Reviewing and debugging code to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, or technical debt.
• Participating in Agile/scrum activities (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), striving to continuously improve team velocity, processes, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience as a Fullstack Developer for 4.5+ years.
• Experience with backend development: RESTful API’s and services for Microsoft cloud deployments using C# .NET Core/ASP.NET, Azure infrastructure and services, JSON/XML.
• Proficiency in the design and development of responsive single-page/progressive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS (Angular).
• Strong appreciation of UX principles, ability to iterate commercial-quality GUI implementations working from wireframes/mockups and other assets produced by UX designers.
• Experience developing test frameworks/test cases for web UI’s and RESTful services (e.g. using Selenium and SpecFlow).
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle in a commercial/production environment.
• Experience with software engineering best practices: object-oriented, design patterns, SOLID principles.
• Experience with software development ecosystem (IDE’s, version control, test automation/CI, etc.).
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in data visualisation (e.g. D3, PrimeNG, NGX Charts).
• Ability to architect high-performance and scalable web application and supporting infrastructures.
• Ability to coordinate day-to-day development and bug fixing activities.
• Experience using Visual Studio Team Services/Azure DevOps and Git.
• Experience with SQL Server or other database management systems.
• Experience with XUnit, Moq.
• Passion for Maths, Statistics and complex algorithms.

Но они даже не рассматривали мою кандидатуру, просто отказали не глядя и всё.

Сейчас раздумываю над тем как быстро сделать возможность генерировать резюме (или дополнительный файл) адаптированное под конкретную вакансию. Нанимающему персоналу тоже не всралось разгребать десятки и сотни сивих, выискивая то что соответствует требованиям.

Только мне тоже неинтересно тратить часы на создание всех документов и вдогонку не получать обратной связи. У меня сейчас уже CV и резюме это два отдельных документа. CV описывает весь профессиональный опыт, резюме за последние пару лет. Мой будущий инструмент генерации адаптированной заявки должен позволять быстро создавать документ на основе имеющихся данных, с корректировками под конкретную вакансию.
